Good Morning Friends!!! How did your last week wrap up for you? You know, one of the reasons I love participating in HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin‘s Weekly Wrap is so I can reflect on what went down last week. Here’s the link – join the fun!
Last week was week 4 of my San Luis Obispo Half Marathon Training Plan. It’s been going pretty well except for I find that I still only either run or cross train but haven’t done too well doing both in one day. My mileage could be higher if I ran most days but I do love cross training as well. I sometimes have the plan that I will run in the morning and go to gym later in the day, but my two-a-day workouts have yet to been seen.
Monday 2/22: Body Pump class at the gym. I always feel so strong when I leave there and then sore the next day. I need to do this more regularly.
Tuesday 2/23: Ran 5 miles from my house through the regional park
Wednesday 2/24: 5 miles on the elliptical (do I get to count this in my weekly mileage or do I have to leave it with cross training?)
Thursday 2/25: Rest day
Friday 2/26: 7 miles from my house through the regional and around the lake
Saturday 2/27: 10 miles from my house down the bike path and back
Sunday 2/28: Rest day – Sunday Funday that wasn’t a Runday

Looking ahead at this week’s schedule I see some hill work, which always does a body good. I also would love to get in a spin class. It’s been a while since I’ve gone and I’ve missed it. Maybe today…..
