Since this was a long and festive holiday weekend, I am starting off with Thanksgiving Day. If you’d like to share your active and/or fun weekly happenings, please join the Weekly Wrap!
Our Thanksgiving started off, as usual, with the Turkey Trot. We had a blast running the 1 mile race with our 4 year old grandson. He has been racing since he was 2. He is so proud of his medals and loves running with us. What a great way to start the day!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. All my family was here, except my brother who moved to NY earlier this year 🙁 We also celebrated 4 family birthdays. November is a very celebratory month for us! I was too busy in the kitchen to even take pictures. Bad blogger!
My youngest daughter and son-in-law spent the night and she was so awesome as to make turkey noodle soup for us. I have always just throw away the turkey carcass but no more. She cooked it overnight in the crock pot, added carrots and celery, and noodles and viola….this I got a picture of!
Rain and Hail Friday
Depending on where you live, this may not be exciting, but for us, it was awesome! So out of the blue, Friday, as we were enjoying our turkey soup, boom HAIL! It was crazy how it just came down then went away and back to sunshine. Of course we ran for our cameras!
Running on the Wall Virtual Run Saturday
I have been enjoying being a Running on the WallAmbassador. Each monthly virtual race is a different theme, different unique package, and different race distance. They send me a complimentary race package every month. November’s race was a 5 miler.
Sunday at the Harbor
Today, we concluded the long weekend fun with a 5 miler down at the harbor.
