I was lucky enough to score pretty great seats so I was super excited! We got there right before Pop Evil came on stage. It was still light so I got some pretty good cell phone shots. This is the first time I also took some cell phone video as well. I am so glad I did. Now I can listen to MY live versions anytime I want!
Pop Evil rocked it hard. They were absolutely awesome! This may have only been my second time seeing them but not my last for sure! Some of their biggest hits include: Hero, 100 in a 55, Last Man Standing, Monster You Made, Torn to Pieces, and Beautiful.
Next up was Seether! They’ve been rocking since 1999 so they couldn’t possibly play all of their songs but they played most of my favorites (I think). I messed up the video I took of “Broken” with my horrible singing! I can’t believe I did that! I couldn’t just shut my mouth for 4 minutes!
Skillet hit the stage next. Skillet is a Christian rock band. The band consists of husband and wife John Cooper (lead vocals, bass) and Korey Cooper (guitar, backup vocals). Their drummer, Jen Ledger, is awesome! She totally rocks the drums, winning the Drummies Award in 2012, and Seth Morrison plays lead guitar. I’ve seen them a few times. They always put on a really good show and they sound great live. Some of their hits include: Hero, Monster, Awake, Sick of it, and Rise.
Buckcherry followed Skillet. I have seen them a lot of times and always quite entertaining and great at getting the crowd going. Not quite the “clean” lyrics of Skillet but fun nonetheless.
Here we go….Headliner…GODSMACK! I am not even sure how many times I’ve seen them play in the last 15 years but I love their show every single time! My favorite part is the double drum session with singer, Sully Erna (insert heart icon here) and awesome drummer Shannon Larkin. I’m bummed my pics didn’t turn out great but I did get a little video!
